Dr. Andreas Andrae

Andreas Andrae is Wireless Communication Researcher at the Corporate Systems & Technology department and represents Continental in 5GAA. Prior to joining Continental he worked for the German vehicle manufacturer Opel, where he was feature owner and developed map data enabled solutions for ADAS and automated driving. Further, he acted as Opel's representative in the ADASIS standardization forum.

Before entering the automotive industry, he worked at the German Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence in Kaiserslautern, serving as senior research associate in the Intelligent Networks group. Previously, he was with the Wireless Communication and Navigation group at the University of Kaiserslautern, where he received his PhD in mobile communications.
